Microsoft Awards CDW Berbee Four Quarterly Partner Awards

February 21, 2006 – The strong partnership between Microsoft and CDW Berbee was rewarded this quarter as CDW Berbee was presented with four separate Microsoft Quarterly Partner awards. The awards, which CDW Berbee received in all Microsoft districts where the company has a presence, were given to partners who have shown exemplary or competitive solutions during that quarter.

“These awards solidify Microsoft’s recognition that CDW Berbee is a go-to partner in all of our geographies,” said Liz Eversoll, vice president of the Microsoft Practice at CDW Berbee.

The awards were presented at regional Microsoft partner events held throughout the United States in January and February for projects completed during the second quarter of Microsoft’s 2006 fiscal year.

Microsoft was very impressed with CDW Berbee’s Microsoft competencies and customer partnerships.

"You do a lot of work across multiple segments," said Kim Tubbs-Herron, general manager of Microsoft SMS&P segment for the North Central Area. Tubbs-Herron added she was impressed with CDW Berbee’s SMS&P business pipeline for 2006.

“I’ve been hearing a lot about CDW Berbee lately,” said Tubbs-Herron. “I just had a forecast review and CDW Berbee’s name was all over it.”

CDW Berbee received the following Microsoft Quarterly Partner Awards for second quarter 2006:

• The CDW Berbee office in Minneapolis accepted a “United States North Central Region Partner Excellence” award in the “Competency” category for our continued strategic work at one of the world's leading manufacturers of mechanical heart valves in Minneapolis.
• The CDW Berbee office in Indianapolis accepted a “United States Midwest Region Partner Excellence” award in the “Satisfaction & Experience” category for work completed at a large health care provider in South Bend.
• The CDW Berbee office in Milwaukee accepted a “United States Midwest Region Partner Excellence” award in the “Competency” category for all the strategic Microsoft work CDW Berbee has done at an international underwear and apparel company in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
• The CDW Berbee office in Cincinnati accepted a “United States Central Region Heartland Area Partner Award” in the “Compete” category for a licensing solution at a Southern Ohio clinic worth $1 million over three years.
